Lord, help us to grow were you have us now, that we will work enthusiastically everyday doing our best.
We do not want to go to the next level if we have not learned what God intent us to learn? We are not ready yet? “There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death” (Proverbs 14:12). He will put us in the next level when we are ready. We have to trust in our God and stand fast in faith and pray for our challenges. Do your best with what He is giving you, we are suppose to do our homework, our part, after all He is putting us there for a reason. A lot of time we keep looking for something new and we do not realized that we have to work more enthusiastically in that something old. Remember that the LORD rejoices to see His work begin in us. Stop looking for something else and do what you can, with what you have where you are, and wait for Him. “Be joyful”. We have to work everyday, so do your best and be happy for the opportunity He is giving us. We are very spoil, we have so much? Be grateful with what He given you. “Our goal is not to be first” If we live like that, we will get into temptation very easy, Jesus was never in a hurry and He is the Son of GOD. “Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own” (Luke 12:15). Our goal is to please GOD. “The LORD detests the use of dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights” (Proverbs 11:1). We must have a balance in our learning.
“People who despise advice are asking for trouble; those who respect a command will succeed” (Proverbs 13:13). After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take any thing with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered themselves with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:7-10.
Don’t loose you focus of you goal. Keep God’s promises on the forefront of your mind. Stay the course, God knows exactly where you are; keep doing what you know to do. Remember that it is a learning process, not all at oneness. Do your best were you are and get ready for your next step. “The commands of the LORD are clear, giving insight for living” (Psalm 19:8).
It is interesting, when you read in 1 Samuel, when Saul was persecuting David; David always wait on God? He ask God first? And He stay in the wilderness. He could easily said Ok I will go to the next step, I am not going to stay one more day in the wilderness because of Saul? He had the opportunity to kill Saul into the cave, but He had a deeply respect for the LORD’s anointed one, “for the LORD himself has chosen him” see 1 Samuel 24:6. We need to meditate on the word, “It is a deeper message on everything thing and we must get it”.
