The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule what needs a bit of bridle to keep under control.” Psalm 32:8-9
We keep looking for something that looks impossible to find. We get pleasure for a moment, and come back to a place of emptiness. Then we start looking for something else because we must be happy. We start another new thing, but we still coming back to emptiness. We keep feeding our body and we forget our soul. Jesus asks, What are you looking for? What are you looking for? Deep inside we are looking for Him and a lot of time we do not realize that. Who are you looking for? Are you looking for love, for peace, for kindness, faithfulness, His name is Jesus.
With true repentance we can find Him. “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart”. (2 Timothy 2:22). How do we find peace with God? We must stop fighting! We must surrender! “Completely” We must serve! Of course, these steps will be motivated by faith and with love.
“Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD. So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!” (Psalm 32:10-11). Who says that we can not enjoy life’s journey? We all have things that must be done, but God wants us to enjoy our life’s journey. If we are too busy, we will block the flow of what the Holy Spirit wants to do through us. Busyness keeps us from being fruitful in the kingdom of God. If our busyness takes God’s place, and everything goes before Him, we need to stop. If that’s the case, we must learn a different way of doing things. We have to work, and work hard, but how are we doing it? Are we spending good time with God? Are we reading His word? Are we meditating on it? Are we applying that word to our lives? Is our priority all day work and other things and we do not have the time for God. If we are not seeing that, it is a good weak up call for us. We must check our fruits. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control…”(Galatians 5:22-23). “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace…” (1 Corinthians 14:33). Take time to enjoy what God has given you. Run from anything that’s will substitute God’s place. If you covet anything; “RUN”. Enjoy your family, your home. Receive God’s love. His love is far and beyond we can even imagine. Know that He is real, “God is true” receive Him. Let Him do his job in your life. Remember, we can’t love others without it. We cannot give away what we do not have, but we must receive it first.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful”. (Colossians 3:15).
Let me rededicate my life to You Lord Jesus, with complete abandonment.
