But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 1 John 2:5. How do you magnify God, “by being grateful people.” The scripture says, the steps of a good man are order by the Lord.  We may not be where we want to be, but God will get us where we need to be. Love for God manifests itself through true obedience to His Word. One translation says that when we “treasure” the Word, it shows that we love God. When you treasure something, it’s valuable to you. You handle it carefully and you protect it. How much do we treasure the promises in God’s Word? Are we willing to move away anything to prioritize God’s Word? Or, it could be that we are selfishness? “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24). “Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” (Luke 12:15). “Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.” (Romans 12:3a). “For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves.” (Romans 14:7). “For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.” (James 3:16)

There is so much to be grateful for. Be grateful people; honor God with all your heart. If you are not sure what God have done for you, take all the time you need to meditate and think about that. Think from where He got you from. Thanks God for all He has done in you. Make God’s Word a priority in your life and allow it to shape your thinking. The scripture says “…but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2). Let your love for God show in your obedience to Him. If we seek God’s ways, we get God’s results “life, joy, peace and satisfaction in Him.”
