How are we handling corrections? Are we really learning?
Take inventory of what it is going on inside of you. Does your heart and actions line up? or we are creating our own shopping bag? What do I have in my shopping bag? Everyone has an outer life and an inner life. The outer life is our public life that everyone can see. The inner life is made up of our thoughts, our attitudes and our motives. What are your motives? Only you and God know what’s going on inside. Are we going around pretending? and on the inside we are thinking something totally different and we do not realized that. Remember that God looks at the inside, He knows our inside. We can fool a lot of people, but we can’t fool God. If you know your motives and what’s going on inside of you, I imagine you are working for God not for you.
Do we really know if we are working for God or if we are working for us?
Why do we still doing the same things? Why we don’t change? Why are we still on the same mountain? Could it be that we are thinking to highly of ourselves that we do not give a chance to God? Or perhaps we do not like to be unconfortable. Could it be that we are doing it for our own satisfaction. We are with a shopping bag personalized with our name in our hands putting inside anything we can find that will satisfy us or we think we have to do. Have we taken time to see if what we are putting inside lined up with the word of God? or what we are putting inside of that shopping bag it is “our words”, “what we think”, “our ways”, “I can have more”, “I can’t wait”, and “in my time”. Yes, we are shopping for ourselves and it is in our ways. Are we really getting the message?
Take time to meditate what you have inside of your shopping bag. The word of God said that we have to meditate on this word, not only listen, or declaring the word, but we have to meditate on it. Take all the time you need and meditate. Do not personalized the bag with your name. Start filling the bag with what God had already prepared for us that will give us a satisfaction that can not be compared with anything. What are we waiting for? If we know that something will give us satisfaction most likely we grab that very quickly, just try to change the items you are putting inside of the bag. The time is now! Yes, it could be uncomfortable, we will have to wait longer that we want, we will have to work to develop patience; we will have to work in selfishness, but that it is what the word of God is telling us to do. Have you ever meditated on how uncountable Jesus was for us?
Have you ever though “the image we have of Jesus”, Who is our Jesus? If we really know we will work diligent in our assignment aligning our actions and thoughts with the word of God and doing our best every day, after a while we will be so impress with all the accomplishment that He has done for us. What are we looking for? Stop following yourself. We think that we know were we are going, but really we will never get to the finish line until we totally surrender to Jesus. Reveal to others the glory of God’s presence in your life by being grateful for what He is doing for you.
