The people of Israel suddenly found themselves between the sea and the angry Egyptian army. It was one of those classic moments when everyone shouted at everyone else, “Do something!”But in the midst of all the fear and turmoil, God had Moses tell the people to stand and watch. When you step out to do something big for God, the enemy will send challenges and distractions to knock you off course. He may try to send you running, but stand firm and be confident that God is working behind the scenes for you. You’ll be amazed at what God will do in your life when you stand face your challenges. When you take a stand, you make a declaration of your faith in God. When you declare your faith in the LORD, you raise that shield of faith which extinguishes all the flaming arrows of the evil one (see Ephesians 6:16). So take a stand today and stay on the course the Lord has set for you. Take a stand in your prayer life. Take s stand in your Bible study time. And take a stand in your acts of service and giving to others. Take stand and see the salvation of the Lord in every area of your life!
