We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near.  People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds.  For God says, …I will increase the power of the godly.” When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs.  The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.  Lord, You caused the springs and streams to gush forth, and you dried up rivers that never run dry.  Both day and night belong to you; you made the starlight and the sun.  You set the boundaries of the earth, and you made both summer and winter (Psalm 74, 75, 84, 86). O Lord, you are so good.  For you are great and perform wonderful deeds.  You alone are God. Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever, for your love for me is very great.
