While knowledge makes us feel important, it is love that strengthens the church. Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much. But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes. We know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom God made everything and through whom we have been given life. You must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. Freedom is one of the wonderful promises the Jesus offers to us. This freedom will have restrictions. You have to be very careful when you believe that you can be free without restrictions and those who have tried this know that it is a fast road to terrible bondage. We must meet each other in our level, because that will causes us to be open to the life-changing message of the Gospel that will ultimately set us free. We think that we have the authority to talk to people with a rod to punish them instead of talking with love and a gentle spirit. Remember, freedom in Christ is restraint for the sake of others. It pleases God when you put others first.
