Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice! (Proverbs 8:1). Have you ever switch from talking to listening and then meditate in what you heard. When you receive valid criticism, do you let it go or you hold it and learn from it. Are you giving an opportunity to “listening”. “Wisdom shouts in the streets, to those gathered in front of the city gate: How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge? Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise” (Proverbs 1:20-23). “But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm” (Proverbs 1:33). God wants us to know His purpose and His plan for us. He wants us to have wisdom and understanding. Proverbs says that when we reverence and honor the Lord, He opens the door to wisdom in our life. God’s wisdom is not like earthly wisdom. His wisdom won’t always make sense to our natural mind. “My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” (Proverbs 3:11-12). If we spend most of our time listening to the word of God, meditating on it instead of talking will we get different results?  Certainly “Yes”.

Prayer
It is so easy, Lord, to embellish the truth. Give me Your wisdom to be completely honest in every phase and to seek You.
