If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthy, unspiritual, and demonic. For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil and every kind. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:13-18

Father, I humbly come before You today and ask that You search the deep places of my heart. Show me the areas where I need to line up my heart and actions. Let my heart learn to sing. Give me Your grace to praise You, Lord Jesus. Thank you heavenly Father, that I can talk to you whatever my circumstances are, and that I will learn to praise You, Lord. Help me to be obedient to You Lord. Help me to not allow others to steal my joy and peace by the things they say and do. I want to be kind and cordial, but I won’t let my mood to be controlled. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.”
