Greeting from Paul

This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God who does not lie promised them before the world began. And now at just the right time he has revealed this message, which we announce to everyone. It is by the command of God our Savior that I have been entrusted with this work for him. Titus 1:1-3

He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confident that we will inherit life. This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teaching so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teaching are good and beneficial for everyone. Titus 3:6-8

Prayer

Start with Paul’s instruction to the Philippians: “Pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done” (Philippians 4:6). I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor of God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 1:19-20

Lord Jesus, sensitize my heart with Your compassion so that I may truly love. Father God, thank You for being my ever-present help. I trust that You are with me, that You are comforting me and restoring my soul. I lift my eyes to You this day LORD. Father in heaven, thank you for keeping my attitude focused in the right direction and for building my foundation on Jesus, for making it ”strong”. LORD, help me to follow Your commands and honor You as You direct my steps. Father in heaven, fill me with Your peace and faith. Give me a vision for all You have for me and help me to always speak Your words of truth and life. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad; my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right. Proverbs 23:15-16.
