Paul told us in scripture how to deal with the cares of this world. In Philippians 4:6 he said, “Do not be anxious about anything.” Then he goes on to tell us how we can win the war on worry. He said, “In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

Paul was saying to turn your worry list into a prayer list. Turn those things that are bothering you over to God. Be grateful. A grateful heart is a strong heart. We aren’t going to change our circumstances by worrying anyway. Worry steals from tomorrow. It steals your confidence and peace.

Today, let your heart be good ground, ready to receive the seed of the Word. Cast your cares on Him. Be grateful. Sing songs of praise to Him all throughout the day. Don’t let the worries of this world rob you of your blessing. Instead, win the war on worry by living a life of prayer.
